Made entirely from Pinot Noir grown in Monterey County, this rosé reflects Folktale's cool-climate approach to the variety. The fruit is harvested by hand and pressed immediately, preserving freshness while allowing just enough skin contact to give the wine its delicate salmon color.
Light salmon in color, with bright aromas and flavors of rose petals, strawberries, kiwi, honeysuckle, apricot, and tropical fruit. Beautiful fruit sweetness is balanced by plenty of acidity.
100% Pinot Noir from Monterey County. Hand harvested between late September and early October and pressed upon arrival. Fermentation took place in 68% stainless steel for freshness and aroma and 32% neutral French oak for texture. Individual lots were blended and bottled in early December.
